Does a faster PXI-RT processor reduce deployment times? I'm using an older PXI-8187 controller, and while it's fast enough for the application, the deployment times during development are a bit annoying. Or would a faster host computer help as well?

I think the bottleneck is the network cards. A new PXI controller will have a gigabit port and the 817x has a 100 megabit. Just a best guess and not a benchmark
