It's too easy to think you have to pay for a LAVA account

The registration form for LAVA seems to confuse some people into thinking that they have to pay for a LAVA account:

Here are two options for fixing it:
  • Make the gray "You do not have to purchase a package to complete registration" text red so that it's easier to see.
  • Make the options radio boxes instead of check boxes and add a "free account" option which would be the default. They should probably be that anyway, since it seems they would be mutually exclusive.

Well I can see what Yair is saying. Joel Spolsky of Stackoverflow.com tries to remove every boundary for users (even registering) just an OpenID is enough.
In his opinion any boundary is withholding quite some interaction.

Although a slightly weird one with that bug report was that a direct email to me would have worked - and there are enough clues in the package metadata (like my name and my employer) to find a real email address....
