Configuration Headache

I am trying to come up with a Software Configuration Plan for a LabVIEW 7.0 project that I am managing.

My question is this - how can I stop LabVIEW from asking me whether or not I want to save VIs and subVIs that have not been modified? It seems to recompile every VI as it is loaded, and then asks if I wish to save changes when it closes. :roll:

A similer question was posted on Info-Labview. Here was my response:
