We are looking for talented LabVIEW Programmers to join our team! This is a full-time position and we offer relocation assistance.

Position is located in Wilsonville, Oregon (10 miles south of Portland)

LabVIEW Programmer - Job #1415

Responsibilities

1) Design Labview applications for external customers that are used in remote control of laser module and laser measurement products via USB or RS-232.

2) Design Labview applications for automated control and data acquisition for internal engineering test beds.

3) Work with sales and marketing to fix windows software bugs reported by the field and develop custom Labview applications.

4) Other windows software design responsibilities may be added in the future as business conditions evolve.

Personal Characteristics

1) Strong “hands on” windows programming skills

2) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Education and Work Experience

1) B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

2) > 5 years work experience in several of the following areas (more recent graduates will also be considered for a more junior level position):

a) Design of windows applications for data acquisition or automated process control (Windows XP, Vista, and 7).

b) Expert level knowledge of Labview programming

c) Design of graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for external customers.

d) Practical programming experience with GPIB, USB, and RS232 interfaces (both device side and host side).

e) Ability to efficiently implement complex mathematical calculations and algorithms in code

f) Basic electronics test equipment knowledge is required. Familiarity with oscilloscopes, waveform generators, logic analyzers, etc.

Bonus Skills

1) Working knowledge of .net programming.

2) C, C++, or Visual Basic programming in MS Visual Studio
