Compare two strings

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have to compare two strings. This are only text strings.

Under functions i found "arithmetic/compare", there is "compare" and there an "excpress compare".

Can i use this without any problems?

Or should i use the "compare?" symbol?

Is there an example with boolean?

Thanks

Sarah

If it takes you longer to test each of those options than it does to post the question - then you need the wiring practice.

If you go to the comparison palette, you will see the Equal? function. Pretty self explanatory. If they are the same then boolean is true. Does exact match only.
