Hello,

this time i have a really difficult problem. I to trigger a Building process of an FPGA-Bitfile in a project programatically by scripting.

I failed with two different ways aprroching this problem:

First i tried to get the reference of the Bitfiles in the project to trigger the building procss by an invoke node. But this failed, because a FPGA-BuildSpecification has an abnormal class, so i can not go to a more specific class than ProjectItem.

Second i used the BuildTargetsProgrammatically.vi in the example path //\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2010\examples\project\programmatically build. I integrated BuildTargetsProgrammatically.vi as a SubVI in my MainFile. In the end this method works, i can trigger the building process of normal executables, but not of FPGA bitfiles.

Does anybody has a solution or an advise for this Problem?

Greetz

Fred
