viSci Posted September 12, 2014 Report Share Posted September 12, 2014 I have a customer in the clinical assay processing business that would like to setup a LIMS system to automate and manage their workflow and interface to various off the shelf and custom analytical Instruments and robotics. In my search of various LIMS on the market I noticed that at one time there was a LIMS written in LabVIEW by a company called Cardiac which is no longer in business. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this or similar products. Quote Link to comment
josborne01 Posted March 7, 2015 Report Share Posted March 7, 2015 Funny I just stumbled upon this. I used to work for CARDIAC way back in the day. And did a little work on their LIMS product. The company split in two: Baze Technology and Imatis. And up until not long ago, they still had a LIMS product. Quote Link to comment
viSci Posted March 9, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2015 After a lengthy search into the LIMS market we went with a product call Clarity LIMS by Genologics. Top Tier LIMS are very expensive > 50k and they are all web based with Relational DB backends. Quote Link to comment
