jbelim Posted January 25, 2008 Report Share Posted January 25, 2008 Hi guys, I've looked at the histogram example that comes with Labview 8.5 evaluation version and am attempting to modify it to show the number of pixels in an ROI. If I want to find the number of pixels in the ROI that I have drawn when running the histogram VI, what functions and controls should I add? Many thanks. Quote Link to comment
Yuri33 Posted January 25, 2008 Report Share Posted January 25, 2008 If you just want a raw pixel count, the simplest way would probably be to convert the ROI to a mask using "IMAQ ROI to Mask" and then input that mask into "IMAQ Quantify" or "IMAQ Particle Analysis." I don't know if you have access to these VIs in the evaluation version of LV, however. You may need the Vision module. I believe you can download it for free and use in evaluation mode for 30 days.
