Labview support .swf format?

hi,

is anyone know how to convert a .swf file(flash animation) in order to import into Labview 8.2 (As currently the .swf format is not supported by Labview 8.2)?

Hi Pika

If you just want to display the .swf video use an Active X control, see Knowledge Base - Can I use a flash animation inside of LabVIEW

If you want the .swf video as an input to your program for analysis etc you can you one of the various free/ open source command line converters, call it from LabVIEW using the System Exex.vi, convert the swf file to a supported format such as avi and use that.

thanks for your kind help.. i had successfully integrated .swf file ino Labview.. Yeah~ :thumbup:

but now i had facing a problem is that the colour of the .swf shown in the Labview is diferent compared with original flash file( rom Poser 7). the problem is still occurred when i open the .swf file(created from Poser) by using Shockwave Player software.

Is anyone can help?

I recommend converting the SWF file into another video type (mpeg, or avi) and see if the color is still different. I use Super video converter, it's freeware.

I don't know if Super supports command line arguments. It may but if it does I'm sure it's a big long complicated string to convert a file.
