The topics look pretty good, including an introduction to OOD with UML. Rumour has it that the course won't just concentrate on LVOOP, but also include some Endevo stuff too :thumbup: Quote Link to comment

NI's web page says Basics is enough. but on the PDF spec of the course says Intermediate or better required. During the first day of the course I go through the principle of OO-Design and Analysis and objects by flow and references. The second day we create a whole test system application from a problem description, using UML class diagram and then we implement it. I like to customize the course as much as possible depending on the student needs, so I normally like to know what kind of systems the students are developing. Cheers, Mikael Quote Link to comment
Norm Kirchner Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 Well I suppose I'll be the first to chime in and give some direction. I have 2 major concerns and confusions on how to handle. Dealing with a variety of instruments of varying and similar types and how to deal w/ different but overlapping configurations and secondly, dealing w/ sets of objects when trying to handle complex data sets in which the sets have similar and overlapping properties but I don't want to replicate datasets due to size.
