Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

At least two (2) years of LABVIEW programming experience

CAD Experience a plus

Experience with Microsoft Office Software

Ability to work with other technicians, engineers, and customers

Ability to communicate technical information both verbal and written

Responsibilities Include (but not limited too)

Control System programming and interfacing

System instrumentation calibration

Writing up of system calibration documentation

Design and build assistance on dynamometer systems

Electrical and mechanical print development and review

System wiring and mechanical buildups

Test cell operation

Modbus TCP is quite a simple and well documented protocol. I have developed a Modbus TCP server and client on the NI cRIO with great success. These vis are not really ready for public release because not all the Modbus functions are supported. I'm willing to send you some examples if your interested. These examples will require you to learn more about the Modbus protocol.
