ASCO Numatics, a division of Emerson, has an immediate need for a hands-on Test Systems Engineer in Sandusky MI. This position will possess a BS degree in mechanical engineering with at least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for designing qualifying test circuits and in house equipment to automatically verify that valve production matches engineering input criteria. This position will also be instrumental in the selection of lab quality components, data acquisition systems and electrical components to assembly final test stands to be used in the assembly facility. In addition, use National Instruments Lab View equipment and software to upgrade existing test stands, provide serial code tracking capability, replace obsolete test stands, troubleshoot test equipment, ensure test systems meet safety guidelines and provide Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to commission new test equipment.
