I'm working on a system that uses LabVIEW 8.6 and I tried to use just the LabPython tools from the OpenG toolkit.  When I tried to place the LabPython script node on the block diagram it did mention something about LabVIEW 9.  Don't know if there is an older version of LabPython that may work with LabVIEW 8.6?

Hello and thanks for the zip file. It works perfectly on my XP system but when I loaded it on my Vista system I ran into several file permission problems. I managed to get past the permission problems but when it launches it does not work properly. Instead it launches the main.vi but it does not run it. Any experience on how to configure it to run on Vista? Thanks again.
