Consults on vendor testing to improve raw material / component quality by designing or advising on tests for boards or subassemblies. Creates and oversees large scope test plans. Supports the production process as needed. Executes the full scope of semi-complex manufacturing test engineering assignments that involve in-depth analysis. Manufacturing test engineering projects typically impact several portions of IGT's manufacturing processes and may affect some core functionality. Develops robust manufacturing test engineering solutions and techniques which meet manufacturing requirements and anticipate vulnerabilities or risks. May develop the manufacturing test engineering design solutions for the team. Decisions and actions sometimes influence the work of other team members, other teams, some management decisions and customer outcomes. Work is subject to minimal supervisory oversight at defined milestones. Determines methods for own work and may assist in determining methods for the work of the team on semi-complex assignments. Escalates complex technical issues or requests to gain cooperation at levels of mid-management. Mentors, reviews the work of, and may train less experienced personnel. Has in-depth knowledge of multiple IGT production operations processes and manufacturing test processes / infrastructure. Has in-depth knowledge of multiple IGT products and their test requirements and typical malfunctions. Has in-depth knowledge of / skills in the areas of: Designing analog and digital electronic circuits ICT, Boundary Scan and AOI Higher level programming languages Test instrumentation PC/Computer interface protocols Has 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing test engineering. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's or PhD preferred.
