Jorn_R
Here's my problem: My comany use a Laboratury Information Management System (LIMS) which is based on LabView. This does not work in Windows 7 (as it is). It won't install properly, and reports numerous registry errors after install. So Ithought I'd give the XP-mode in Windows 7 a try, and there the LIMS installs without problems. Said that, the LabView Runtime which is necessary, did not install at all. When I try to install the LabView Runtime, I get an error stating: "The Windows Installer does not permit installation from a Remote Desktop Connection." I have tried with several Runtime versions, but they all give the same error... Can someone give me a tip on a workaround? or a patch or something? Thanx in advance. --- Solved! --- Copied the setupfiles to the Virtual Harddrive, and ran the setup from there. No problems! Edited August 24, 2009 by Jorn_R Quote Link to comment
