MAH2681
I posted a similar note on the NI boards and haven't gotten a response yet, so I figured I might try here. I would like to use ActiveX to control or send data to Microsfot OneNote. I've spent time looking over the options available, researching, and trying to figure it out, but haven't had much, if any success yet. I've recently been using ActiveX to work with Excel (and Word to a much lesser degree). I thought the setup might be similar. In the end, I'd like to add data (text, pictures, tables, etc) to a new or existing OneNote file. While I know this isn't an "easy" task, I think it should be easier than what it seems to me so far. I was hoping either some here might have tried such a thing or has a greater knowledge of Office/ActiveX that could point me in the right direct, perhaps with an example or something of that nature. I'm using LV 7.0, Windows XP, and Office 2007. Quote Link to comment
asbo
The OneNote Developer Center is as good as any place to start. They do have a video right on the front page, Video: Introducing OneNote Programmability and How To Develop Solutions and Extensions, as well as a two part series on the COM API that's new in 2007.
