Dalsa Piranha2 8k, 18kHz, PCI 1426 sync with quadrature encoder signals

Has anyone successfully synchronized the quadrature encoder signals with PCI 1426 to capture frames from Dalsa Piranha2 8k, 18kHz line scan camera?

I am using LabVIEW 2009 developer suite (including NI Vision) on Windows 7 PC.
