active and passive objects

hi,

i want to move objects to a pane by using mouse (drag and drop to pane). there are more than one objects (as box). how to make when an object (box #1) which is clicked by mouse is active, the other objects are passive? So , when i rotate the box #1, the others (box #2, #3,...etc.) are not affected?
