The Wireless Test Engineer’s challenge in a few words
Thisposition encompasses an involvement in the development and design ofelectronic products’ testing stations within broader projects.
The ideal candidate in a few words

• Degree: Bachelor degreein electrical engineering or related experience. Masters or PhD an asset
• Experienced: Have five years or more in design/test of GSM, WCDMA and wireless equipment. Have two (2) years or more of experience with test and measurement related to cellular protocols (GSM / CDMA / LTE)
• Skills:
  • Working knowledge of 3GPP Wireless Protocol Standards UMTS
  • At ease with RF instruments and related measurements (Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzer, and Signal Generator)
  • Hands-on experience with Wireless/RF Test Equipment (signal analyzers, signal generators, Wireless tester, call boxes)
  • Minimum Knowledge of GPS signal
  • Working knowledge of Programming and Scripting Languages such as C, C++
  • Knowledge of NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand anasset
