Recording real time signal

see guys , i want to record a real time signals or any waveforms,

my friends told me to use Labview measurement file,

but i dont need that,

i need to record just like in cassete or voice recorder

and to store it in a format

can any one help

How much data are you wanting to write real time?

TDMS might be the way to go.
