viSci Posted April 25, 2011 Report Share Posted April 25, 2011 Are there any tools to help with the process of Reverse Engineering LabVIEW code to create a SW Requirements Document. I noticed that Symbio has UML tools that can create UML from LV code. If your LV code is not currently OOP will this be useful? It would also be interesting to be able to come up with some useful metrics based calculations to estimate the tasks/time involved in unit testing legacy code. Any thoughts... Quote Link to comment

If your code includes requirements tage (like the [REQ: xx-xxxx] type) on the diagrams and/or VI despcriptions, you could use scripting (and/or NI Requirements Gateway) to create a list.
