Industrial Automation/Systems Integration Engineer

EUV Technology (EUVT) manufacturers custom R&D instrumentation for the utilization and analysis of short wavelength electromagnetic radiation – soft x-ray and extreme ultraviolet (EUV). We specialize in metrology and calibration tools for EUV lithography.

POSITION SUMMARY: The candidate will provide technical support for existing and future instrumentation. He/she will support the design, documentation, fabrication, assembly, testing, and acceptance phases of each project. This position focuses on software design and control system architecture with an emphasis on integrating instrumentation into semiconductor manufacturing lines.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Software design

• Control system architecture

• Electrical design and component selection

• Documentation (SW, electrical, user)

• Field support of instrumentation (domestic/international)

• Integrated system assembly

• Automated test development/system validation

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• LabVIEW

• Experience designing and fabricating automated control systems

• Data acquisition, robotics, IO, and industrial communication protocols

• Semiconductor manufacturing tool experience

Preferred

• OrCad, Eagle, SolidWorks, Office

• Vacuum systems

• Machine vision

• Optical engineering

• SEMI/NFPA/IEC standards

• Assembly skills (electronic/mechanical)
