Omar Mussa Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 For some reason, I get really small tools glyphs on a new VM I just created running on Parallels 9 with Win 7 Pro on a Mac with Retina display. Never seen this issue before and am wondering if anyone else has seen it and/or knows of a display setting that will fix it Quote
rdr Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 I've also seen this issue on my MBP-R with Parallels 8 and Win 7. I believe you can tweak the VMs settings for scaling to improve the behavior and I've found restarting the VM sometimes helps. It's an odd issue related to scaling for the high resolution used by the VM... Quote
JackDunaway Posted November 1, 2013 Report Posted November 1, 2013 I'll swap either of you straight up for a non-Retina display that does not have this problem Quote
Omar Mussa Posted November 15, 2013 Author Report Posted November 15, 2013 I found a solution that works for me (running Parallels 9). Here are the video settings that 'fixed' the problem (I'm not sure exactly which setting but I think it was disabling 3d acceleration that did it ...): I hope this helps someone out there. Quote
