Verification of DDS Clock from Timing Module

Hi,

I need to generate 120MHz clock with Timing Module (NI 6672) and use it as sample clock for NI5762 Flex RIO adapter module in PXI.

I thought to use example design "Generate DDS Clock and Route" from NI Sync library to make this clock but I am not sure how can I verify that it really gives correct frequency?

Can I at the same time use this as a sample clock and use its 10 MHz reference to override the PXI one?

Also, I was wondering if there is something on the FlexRio or adapter side that needs to be done so that they use external clock as sample clock. IS there a way to see from Flex RIO/adapter module driver calls which sampling frequency is used?

Thank you in advance,
