How to save avi file banary?

Hello people,

I have a small problem. I have short avi files (max 2 min) and now i wont to save them on SQLserver. to do so i need to convert my avi files to binary data and then upload it as text to server.

I found some examples in Delphi en PHP but not in LV.

anybody any idias? may be some example how it is done?
