Miradore Posted April 6, 2005 Report Posted April 6, 2005 Does anyone know if LabView 7 allow access to read the individual pins of the RS232 (serial) input? I am wanting to write a vi which will detect a pulse, measure its duration and increment a counter. I would like to connect the input switch directly into the RS 232 socket and read one of the lines (RTS or DTR for instance) rather than taking in a byte of data. Any help or opinions will be gratefully appreciated. Quote
progor Posted August 22, 2005 Report Posted August 22, 2005 do you still nead it? I use RS232 or LPT port to check if something is close (for egz.)... and then I pass the aplication. Download File:post-2324-1124709270.vi Quote
