queue references become invalid after the VI having created them returns to the idle state

Recommended Posts

Hi Together,

I know this is a rather old thread but maybe there is still someone interested ...

It seems that queue references become invalid after the VI having created them returns to the idle state.

I tried to use dqXclass objects in conjunction with dynamically called VIs and nearly got mad during debugging... Always after a first VI succesfully created and used the objetcs the second VI failed due to invalid references.

Does anybody have a good solution for me?

Do I have to create "creator VI" running permanently in the background, keeping alive the queues?

Best regards

Arno
