m3nth
Has anybody seen the latest security vulnerability with Flash? Anybody upgraded and got it to work? I upgraded my PC (I think on accident) and everything that uses Flash quit working (like all the games in the Arcade for example). Now I'm stuck with the new version that doesn't work unless I find the .dll for the old version that has a security hole. I was wondering if anyone actually got the new version to work... if there was something I wasn't doing right perhaps. I'm using Firefox and I tried it w/ both vRC1 and v1.0.7 to no avail (I thought it might be the Firefox version screwing things up). If anyone successfully gets the new flash version running let me know! Quote Link to comment
m3nth
Well for general knowledge: Due to increased security in Flash Player 8.0, enabling OBJ-TABS in Adblock will result in no Flash content being displayed. The only workaround at this time is to disable OBJ-TABS. Quote Link to comment
Mike Ashe
Well for general knowledge: Thanks for that bit of info. I had installed, then uninstalled the latest update after having problems. Maybe now I can reinstall. I was hoping we would not see these types of problems with Flash. I got rid of RealPlayer due to it interfering with several other programs and have not reinstalled. I thought Flash was gone for good as well. Quote Link to comment
