Password-protected VI bug?

I'm not sure if this has been reported in previous versions, etc...but here goes:

A customer asked me to make some small changes to a program that I had previously written for them in LV 7.1.1. I was away from my office, but had their entire program on my USB memory stick, including all VIs, build script, etc., so I thought I could easily handle this on my laptop and email a new exe to the customer.

HOWEVER...I found that if you create a new folder on the C drive (ex: C:/Program Files/Project Blah Blah), then drop a password protected VI into it from a cd or memory stick...you cannot open the BD or make any changes because NO password works! It seems that it loses the password in the transfer to another drive.

The work around (of course) is to open the VI from the cd or mem stick, un-password protect it, then transfer it to your new location, then re-password protect it.

Not much of a big deal, just something annoying I noticed... :!:
