wulf
Hi. It's been a while since I used labview, and even then it had been for a very simple data acquisition and logging purposes. Now I have need for something more difficult. I really need to multiplex two arrays (1D) and then based on a selection pick one of the two arrays to come out on the output I tried this using a cluster, and then selecting the element. I then feed this "array" output wire into an array size element, as I just want to really select the size of the array. however this "array size" element does not choose the array it simple selects the "2x7" (2 arrays coming in to the cluster with the biggest one having 7 elements). I have to be able to select an inner and outer array index of two for loops from the size of the two arrays, basically I want the capabilitity to switch which index of the for loops receive, based on the size of the arrays on the front panel (the will be variable depending on the number of measurements to be taken). I need to hold one constant, go through all the elements of the other and then step the outer loop again. The most difficult part is being able to switch (I would think labview would have a multiplexer type of element, but I'm not finding it). Any suggestions? thanks! Quote Link to comment
JDave
You can use a Select block for just two inputs, or a case structure for more than two. Other things can be done, but this is (I assume) what you are looking for. Quote Link to comment
