Pragnesh
Hi I have a typical problem. I am trying to install a LABVIEW 7.1 on my machine, which I used since last year. I do not know about any previous installation of Labview on this machine. When I start installation of LABVIEW, it gets terminated after few seconds with following message, "A more comprehensive distribution of LabView7.1 has been detected on the system. Please remove the other distribution before installing this distribution of Labview 7.1." I already searched Add/Remove program, Program files and windows/system for any possible LABVIEW installation but didn't find any thing. I also run the MsiBlast.exe utility to find any NI installer but it didn't find any thing. It gave listed of following four installers on the machine, - Adobe reader 7 - Gear CD-RW - Microsoft office 2000 - WebFldrs XP I also searched Windows registry for any possible NI entry including the GUID provided by NI on Labview set up disk. It resulted in nothing. Is there any body who can help me out to install the LABVIEW 7.1 without formatting of Harddisk. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
crelf
I already searched Add/Remove program LabVIEW 7.1 isn't listed directly under Add/Remove programs, it's under a category called "National Instruments Software" - have a look under that. Quote Link to comment
