envoymedical Posted June 13, 2007 Report Share Posted June 13, 2007 TEST ENGINEER POSITION SUMMARY: Utilize skills in electrical and systems engineering to support new product development, research, and ongoing manufacturing operations. Successful hands-on candidate will interact closely with marketing and manufacturing operations to define and execute business-relevant research and product development functions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Design software for testing electronic and mechanical assemblies in manufacturing · Create software for test data analysis and reporting · Design, debug, and implement test fixtures to support new product development and production · Develop new electrical designs and subsystems as required for new medical products · Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to develop system and subsystem specifications · Documentation of all designs and analysis · Support ongoing production operations related to electronic components and subassemblies GENERAL POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: · BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent · Minimum of 3 years relevant engineering experience in LabVIEW development · Experience with data acquisition hardware and other test equipment · Excellent verbal and written communications · Proficient in electrical CAD design and system analysis · Ability to read and create engineering drawings · Demonstrated ability with engineering statistics · Proficient in Microsoft Office applications DESIRABLE: · Analog and digital design experience · Experience with programming in C TRAVEL Periodic on-site production support and monitoring of contract manufacturers.
