A Hevii proposal to those in Toronto

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody! Ever since the mid 90's when I first came across LabVIEW I've been fascinated by it :worship: ! I saw immediate potential for a project which I was working on. Alas, my expertise was not and still is not in programming. My strength is identifying the need and delivering the solution. We do that now at Hevï Technology albeit with 'hard' solutions rather than with 'soft' solutions. However, recently my latent LabVIEW appreciation surfaced again. One of my customers of the 'hard' stuff asked if our mechanical solution could also incorporate on-line monitoring of process loads. Hmmm... I thought to myself, a LabVIEW App could possibly work. Then, after a few more days of mulling it about, I had a Eureka moment :lightbulb: : With a slight change-of-focus, Hevï could provide integrated mechanical-software solutions to the industries with which we are involved.

I'm quite certain that most of you out there are very satisfied doing what you're doing. However, I have a feeling that at least one of you has considered breaking out of the box to explore the possibility of striking out on your own. Just as programming scares me, the thought of knocking on doors (once you've gone through the process of trying to identify which doors to knock on) to sell your services is probably quite mortifying :( . I'd like to explore the possibility of working together to leveraging our respective strengths. Is anyone out there starting to feel the tingles of excitement over the possibilities? Toronto-based LabView gurus would be ideal but, we'd be happy to hear from those residing on Pluto if you're intrigued about this! Rather than risking web-bots snarfing my email address from this forum, I'd ask you to simply head over to our website and "Contact Us".

Best regards to all and, happy programming :D
