Timed sequence

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. I'm new to Labview and I'm having trouble understanding the programming.

I'm a student at university and the task given to us is to create a Photovoltaic generator. 5 bulbs are arranged in an arc to simulate different times of day and the task given to me is to write a program that controls the servo motor. What I am trying to create is a program that turns the servo motor to the first point, waits for a specified time, turns to the second point, waits, and repeats until it reaches the fifth point.

To control the servo motor I am generating a squarewave in Labview. My problem is that I can't figure out how to change the squarewave modulation. The closest I've got is creating a timed sequence that has generates different waves at certain timed intervals. Unfortunately when the second wave is activated the first wave is still being generated.

What is the best the to aproach this problem? I apologise for this vague description but I am very new to this program!

Thanks.
