They are a global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace, defense and homeland security markets. Annual revenues exceed $6 billion. The company is always on the cutting edge of technology and has a multi-million dollar R&D facility. Position Details: Reporting to the Test Engineering Technical Lead, the Lead Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, designing, modifying, building and implementing test equipment and test procedures. More specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following: - Take responsibility for leading the development of system level test equipment in a team environment. - Formulate plans for test equipment development, specifically the design and development to meet these requirements outsourcing the build and assembly. - Analyze system level (product) testing requirements and develop test requirements and procedures. - Potentially develop or recommend software and software requirements for testing procedures and protocols with an emphasis on LabVIEW software. - Perform validation testing on new equipment to be sure equipment meets all requirements.
