lampersberger
Hi there, Got some stupid problem (I locked myself out from my VI), which I´m trying to fix for some time already. But nothing works! What I wanted to do: - Make a program, which starts automaticly on a double-click in Windows(-Explorer). And when the user presses the "END" button it closes. What I did: - I set the front panel appearance as "Dialog" in the VI settings (stops or interupts by the user are no allowed). - I put an "END-Labview"-box at the end of the program (that it closes, when the "END" button is pressed). What the program does: - Exactly what it should (opens, runs and finishes after "END"). - But I don´t get into the block diagram anymore to make changes. - I tryed to stop it by provoking errors, but it just crashes. - Also breaks in SubVIs don´t let me interupt the main VI. - I tried hot keys (Ctrl+., Ctrl+E, Ctrl+C etc.). - I tried starting it in Windows-Explorer holding down Shift, Alt or Ctrl (this works with some other application). Question: - Is there some way to get into the block diagram, or is it lost and I can redo the whole VI??? Thanks for any helping replay in advance! Quote Link to comment
shoneill
This used to work.... Drop the vi as a sub-vi in an untitled block diagram (Put some broken code in if neccessary). Then double click it to open it without running it. Shane. Quote Link to comment
