Can't Open Labview after installing LabWindows

This is odd:

I had LabView 7 going great on my comp, then I installed LabWindows CVI 8.5 and suddenly I can't open LabView anymore. I get no errors, it just flashes to my start menu and then goes away quickly.

Any ideas???

In case no one here has had this problem, I would suggest posting this to the http://forums.ni.com/ni/board?board.id=180' target="_blank">NI CVI/LabWindows Forum. NI monitors that forum and would probably be able to help you out in installation issues.

Other than that, you could try looking in your Event Viewer (Windows) and see if it might point you in the right direction of why your LV app is crashing.
