SoaD85 Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Hi @ all, I would like to program a embedded control system on a PXI-7813R with a control loop speed of 100kHz. The controller is not just a simple PID but a more sophisticated algorithm. My question is, how can I estimate the runtime of parts of my controll loop before compiling. I would like to work with 16 bit integers. e.g. How fast is a multiplier? How fast is an adder? Is there somewhere a reference list for such runtimes @ NI-homepage available or does anybody has some experience with this? Thanks! Quote
