Black_Book
hello, i'm trying to grab an image from TRENDNET TV-IP 100N camera using lab view 8.6, my problem is that i can't open the connection to the camera - i disabled my firewall and opened the ports 80 and 3015 in my router and i still get an error message "unable to open port - check firewalls..." i added my project to this post and i would thank you if you can help me figure the problem. thanks. jdunham
Can you connect to the camera with any other software running on the same computer? Typically the camera would have an IP address and would be listening on port 80. What happens if you put the camera address into a web browser or type "telnet <camera address> 80" at the Windows or Linux command line? Quote Link to comment
Chris Davis
You should really to try to see what you can get from a web browser before you try to get anywhere with labview. If you can get a web browser to display the latest frame from a browser address (such as http://192.168.2.100/image.jpg) then this link will help you get the image downloaded and displayed on your computer.
