Maybe I'm not asking the right question. If I were looking for a traditional hosting company for a website, I might look at what application stack they can support: php, ASP.NET, etc. Has anyone run across a web hosting company that can handle hosting an LV web service? Or should I be looking for something like a hosting company that can provide me with a virtual machine that I can load my own application stack on? Joe Z. Quote Link to comment

There are some web hosting companies (e.g. http://www.mosso.com/' rel='nofollow' target="_blank">Mosso) that can host applications. However, I'm pretty sure that none of them support LabVIEW (but, maybe it's possible with very clever tricks). So, you'll need to get a dedicated or virtual server and configure it, yourself. -Jim Quote Link to comment
jdunham
Jim's right, you want virtual server hosting, which you can google. Here's one for $99/mo: http://myhosting.com/Virtual-Server-Hosting/ If you want to run LabVIEW for Linux, you have a lot more options http://ask.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/04/05/0214232 Quote Link to comment

NI are making it easier than ever with the various web server/services architectures, however, they are NOT pushing these technologies into the Linux world where hosting options are MUCH cheaper. -- James Quote Link to comment
