Hi there , I can write the data into my circuit by using parallel port and labview but i have problem with reading the data such as temperature reading. My circuit consist of temperature and light sensor which connected to 8-bit mulltiplexer and the output from the multiplexer is connected to ADC converter. Then the ADC is connected to the parallel port and i have done the configuration for the pins , pins 2-9 of the parallel port is connected to pins 11-18 of ADC and the control pins 1, 14, 16 and 17 are connected to the multiplexer so the multiplexer can swich one of the inputs to the a common outputs so i want a code that can read the output dispaly it in labview . I need code that can read and display the temperature reading. Can anyone help me please Thanks

Hi , I have problem of how to use labview for intefacing with parallel port. I have built a circuit which consists of sensors and ADC converter . and now i want to send the output data from the hardware to pc by using parallelport and display the signals on labview. please can any one help me . Hi all, I have problem with interfacing parallel port with pc by using labview. First of all I have designed a weather station which is consisted of temperature sensor ,light sensor , humidtity sensor and air pressure sensor. The outputs from the sensors are connected to an 8 bit ADC converter to convert the analog signals to a digital signals. And i have used an 8 bit multiplexer to which has 3 address lines used to switch one of the inputs to a common output. The circuit is working prefect. I have connected the hardware circuit to pc and I have used the labview for the pin configuration. I have attached a file that I followed setup by setup and i have done exactly what its in there . Its my first time using labview and parallel port so i have problem understanding data register base+1 , stute register and control register address base+2 i really need help with this project. And I need help with labview how to measure all the sensors and how to test every thing for example if the pins connection are right I want to know how to do that in labview. Thanks
