  1. Sorry for posting a possibly simple question, but I've started using LabView only recently. I'm trying to access an old DMA-ISA-Card (built 1994). It reads the input from an Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectrometer, and the software shipped with it listens for input on a specific IRQ and DMA. Now the thing is, that the software only works in DOS (that is Dos, Windows 95, Windows 98), and not anymore under newer operating systems because those block direct access to the DMA and IRQ. That's why I'm thinking of trying to access the card with LabView. The question is: Is it possible to listen with LabView to a certain DMA and IRQ for any information that will be sent to those channels? Would that be possible with LabView's VISA? Note that I don't need to send any informations to that card, and that I don't have any DLLs for the ISA card. Thank you for any provided information!
