Hi, I am trying to modify a Example vi from the Help option by making it able to calculate the pixel intensity in color. At first we could use it with PCI - 1407 monochrome frame grabber without modifying the Example but after changing our PCI frame grabber to PCI 1405 color,analog we could not use the example after changing the mode in the block diagram to RGB mode. When we run the vi and click specific spot on the image there's error. We do not have the license for IMAQ ExtractColorPlanes so is there other ways i could achieve the same results without using IMAQ icons We have the 8.6 NI Image Aquisition license CD.

How to create a global timer that is able to start, stop when i initialize it and insert it into a three loop block diagram? We are using LabVIEW 7.1 Regards
