IQ Inc. (www.IQ-Inc.com), a technical solutions and software engineering company headquartered near Pittsburgh, PA, has an immediate need for a Test Tool Validation Engineer fluent in LabVIEW. Responsibilities: • Support existing software testing applications (in LabVIEW) for automated testing equipment, within a validation lab. • Code review, test and verify existing applications. Clearly document results. • Follow procedures regarding good design practices, acceptable coding style, and proper reporting/documentation. Requirements: • Ability to work as a member of a team, concurrently handle multiple project assignments, meet commitments, and ensure quality. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong computer skills, primarily using Microsoft Office and National Instruments software (SAP experience is a plus). • Must be able to follow coding standards and procedures when developing LabVIEW automated tools. • 2-4 years experience (or equivalent education) with a proven track record of problem solving and relationship building with both external and internal customers. • 2+ years software development with National Instruments LabVIEW. • Ability to write professional reports, test specifications and procedures. • Conduct basic and statistical analysis.
