Greetings all.
The attached file is a small utility that I wrote some time ago. It's a VI that allows a LabVIEW program to shutdown or restart a Microsoft operating system. Since it was requested by several people on the Info-LabVIEW mailing list, Michael reminded me that I could simply post it here. The attached file contains the VI, a support DLL with source code, and a more detailed explanation about its use.
I hope it can be of help. Although it's been tested on several LabVIEW and operating system versions, should you find a bug in the code please let me know, and I will gladly post a correction if just possible.
