Software Developer Needed Dynamic Technology Inc has an immediate need to fill a new position created due to growth in our Operational Support Services division. This full time position will be based in Warren, Michigan. This position will be working directly with engineers from a major automotive OEM to develop test and calibration systems software to support the product development efforts. A significant part of this instrumentation service is the design, development and deployment of in-house PC based software and hardware. This organization has made a strategic decision to take this approach based on commercially available off the shelf hardware and open architecture software from National Instruments. Educational/Experience Required: · Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering · Minimum 5 – 7 years experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff and customers. · Proficiency with a combination of software products and operating systems. · Proficiency with NI LabVIEW software required, specifically, must be CLAD (Certified LabVIEW Application Developer) and experienced with FPGA and Real Time programming. · Familiar with Data-Bus for Data Acquisition systems (PXI-bus) and vehicle data bus communication systems (CAN bus). · Skills and experience in producing design including requirement discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and their assessment, technology selection , and design configuration. · Full project scope experience with all aspects of a project from design through development, testing, implementation, and production. · Ability to successfully describe and communicate issues, ability to directly interface with the customer and the ability to call and lead meetings. · Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies. · Strong verbal skills. · Strong written skills.
