Is it possible to still get the 2.3 version for labview 8.6?

Okay, I got it. I needed to install NI System Configuration (http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/2328/lang/en). Now it's working. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, crossrulz. When I load the vi it tries to find a lot of vi's in "<vilib>:\nisyscfg" which I don't have. I'm guessing that I need to install an add-on. Would you happen to know what the add-on is called?

I would like to programmatically change the alias of a couple DAQmx devices to make a program more versatile. I have found an example at ni.com that will do this; however, it is in version 8.6 and I have 8.5.
