  1. For my case, write/read XML solves the problem. I am glad that the program looks simpler. I will try the OpenG later. I believe it will be a great help if I want to be a good LabVIEW programmer. Thanks, Oscar and Jim.
  2. Thanks, Oskar. When I go to that OpenG link, it seems I should download something(openg_commander-2.0-alpha3.zip). What is in that zip file and how to use it? Maybe this is a stupid question. I am a newbie and have never heard of OpenG before. Kang
  3. I am new for LabVIEW. I have learned a lot from this forum. It's very helpful. I have a cluster with several different data types (Number, String). Any simple way to save it to a spreadsheet? I have tried to change all the members to string type and write as an array. I have some trouble to read strings from the saved file. How to read one string by another if several strings are saved in one line with only some "block" seperator between them? Any other better solution? Thanks.
