Hello, and thank you to interest in my project. My configuration is pxi chassis with 4472 cards, a total of 50 channels in labview 7.1. i am a beginner in labview 7.1 and i do acquisition of 50 channels that it works in MAX. So i need to do a acquisition and record file for each group of channels in my program. Then i need to trig each group by a software trigger(that record x samples before and x sample after a treeshold)(if one channel of this same group detect the threshold then all sensor of this same group record at the same time in a file. Then i record it in a differents names files that's depends of how many groups are their in the program and how many threshold are detected during the test. The numbers of groups, the numbers of channel in each group, the threshold, the numbers of samples before the threshold, the numbers of samples after the threshold will be change by the user each time he start the program.The maximum group we can do it' s 10 groups. Example-->The user select the number of groups before and then define the number of the channel for each group from the front panel. Numbers of group=3 ; select the channel for this 3 groups; threshold=0.5; sample before threshold=2000; sample after threshold= 3500 ----->group_one= 10 channels (ch01,ch05,ch09,ch25,ch48,ch32,ch18,ch50,ch7,ch38) ----->group_two= 25 channels (etc...) ----->group_three=15 channels (etc...) TOTAL =50 channels. Someone can help me .Thank you very much.

hello I2dx, thanks a lot to have reply to me. I have this vi (trigevent)and have some problem i can' t resolve it and i try a lot of things but nothing then if you can help me thank you. Problems to resolve: 1- I can't display on the second charts the results of vi express 'trigger and gate' (i want to display the result each time the trig detect a treshold like in a oscilloscope in the maximum large display of the charts) i think i have a problem with the scale that don't refresh automaticaly? 2-In the vi express 'trigger and gate' there is a menu call 'general' and i can select the trigger channel.
