  1. QUOTE(papak @ Feb 13 2007, 08:43 PM) Papak, Thanks for the response (and sorry for the slow reply). I'll let you know if that's possible, but I think we are looking for people who already are eligible to work here. If we have no luck I will contact you again. John
  2. Thanks Dan, I did something similar (see attached), but thought that there must be a way to accomplish it with a native LabVIEW function that I didn't know about. Judging from the responses I've been getting there must not be. I'm an old time LabVIEWer and I often use methods that are out of date. I thought that was the case here. Thanks again, John Download File:post-4375-1160070948.vi
  3. Dan, I forgot to mention I'm using LV 7.0. Is there a chance you can save it in that version? If not, can you give me a screenshot? Thanks, John
  4. I need to remove unprintable and extended characters from a string before sending it to a data collection system, but I can't fine an easy way to do it. I can brut force it by breaking down the string and then testing and replacing each character, but there must be an easier way that I'm not aware of. Here's an example of the string I want to process: Any information would be appreciated. John
